I'd like to give a bit of context before jumping into the story itself; there was a post on the /r/askreddit subreddit asking for the saddest story that someone could write with two sentences. I encourage you to check it if you're strong enough to face what you will find there. Mine is nothing but a glimpse, if you dive into that post you'll find a lot of awesome(ly sad) stories that in my honest opinion will make your hearts shiver.
This is the one I wrote:
Those little things whose existence we forget; smiling, laughing, loving... breathing. My baby was given no chance to know how those felt like.
